GRAPPENHALL slumped to a 59-run defeat at home to Romiley – despite a sparkling century from opener William Fell.
He hit 103 in an innings of 182 minutes from Grappers’ all-out total of 189.
There was little support from the rest of the line-up, although several hung-around for lengthy periods, notably opening partner James Knowles whose 17 runs took 79 minutes, enabling Grappers to put 61 on the board before a wicket fell.
Earlier Romiley had won the toss, elected to bat and hit 248-6 from 50 overs.
Grappenhall 2nd won by seven wickets at home to Urmston after restricting the home side to 208-6.
Zak Judge, 53, Tom Brimelow 51 not out and Travis Scholes, 47 batted well as Grappers hit 210-6.
Warrington won by 101 runs at Irby after batting first and hitting 206, Umer Zeb top-scoring with a belligerent 40 not out from 37 balls.
The home side were dismissed for 105 in 26 overs, C Gadepalli taking 5-37.
Warrington 2nd lost by 32 runs hosting Winnington Park and Warrington 4th won by five wickets at Winnington Park.

Put in after losing the toss, they were bowled out for 162 and then saw their opponents canter to 166-4.
Lymm 2nd won by 21 runs hosting Oxton hitting 189 and then dismissing the visitors for 168.

Glazebury lost by a massive 157 runs at Kingsley when they were dismissed for 97.
