RUGBY League legend Alex Murphy OBE was special guest at a Celebration of Older People Day held at the Gateway in Warrington.
Alex, and his wife Alice were joined by the Mayor and Mayoress of Warrington Cllr Steve and Mrs Julie Wright at the special event organised by the Older Peoples’ Engagement Group (OPEG).
The event, which was celebrating its fifth anniversary, celebrates older people in the community and included music, health checks, activities and entertainment, supported by Warrington Voluntary Action and NHS Warrington.
