Emergency services called out after car collides into Sainsbury’s Local store at Woolston

EMERGENCY services, including police and fire, attended following reports of a car colliding with the window of the Sainsbury’s Local store at Woolston on Thursday afternoon.

Shortly after 4 pm, one fire crew from Warrington attended at the scene where one car had left the roadway and collided with a property. A thermal imaging camera was used to monitor the temperature of the vehicle, and one casualty was assessed by paramedics on scene. The incident was then handed over to the police.

Police attended and found a car had collided with the exterior window of a Sainsbury’s local store. There were no reports of any injuries and no arrests were made.
The scene was cleared by 5.30 pm.
