Bus Service improvements to improve punctuality

SOME local bus services operated by Warringtons Own Buses will operate to revised timetables from June 1st to help improve punctuality and reliability across the network.

Warrington Borough Council is continuing to invest in bus services to make journeys more dependable for residents. Recent improvements, including the A49 Bus Service Improvement Plan scheme on Winwick Road, have already helped to reduce journey times and improve reliability for customers.

As part of this ongoing work, timetable updates will apply to the following services:

• 5 (St Ambrose College morning journey)
• 11 / 12
• 16 / 16A
• 17 / 17A / 17C
• 19
• 22 / 22A
• 28 / 28A
• 62 / 62A

Passengers are encouraged to check the WOB timetable pages before travelling to view the new schedules.
Ben Wakerley, Managing Director, Warrington’s Own Buses said: “Reliable public transport is essential for our residents, businesses and visitors. These timetable changes, alongside the council’s continued investment in bus priority measures, are about making services more punctual and dependable. We know how important buses are to everyday life, and we will continue working with operators to improve journeys across the town.”
