FIREFIGHTERS helped rescue a casualty medically trapped after a car collided into a wall off Winwick Road, Warrington, during the early hours of this morning.
At 00:54, crews from Warrington and Penketh attended reports of a collision on Winwick Road in which one car had collided with a wall.
One casualty, who was medically trapped, was assisted from the vehicle by firefighters and handed over to paramedics.
The vehicle was made safe and monitored using a thermal imaging camera. Police were also in attendance.
Cheshire Police later confirmed that two people were taken to hospital following the collision, and their injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
