Detectives from Cheshire Constabulary’s Online Child Abuse Investigation Team (OCAIT) have charged a man with multiple child sexual offences.
Thomas Avery, of no fixed abode in Manchester, previously of Wilmslow, has been charged with 36 offences, including causing a child to engage in penetrative sexual activity, making indecent images of children, inciting a child to engage in sexual activity, and threatening to share intimate photographs or films.
The charges relate to an investigation into offences which occurred between October 2024 and April 2025, and involves 27 victims across the UK.
The 19-year-old has since been bailed to appear at Crewe Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday 7 July.
