LATCHFORD Albion Giants’ recent run of good form was abruptly halted when they fell to a 38-22 defeat at Hindley Stags Reserves.

The visitors controlled the first 20 minutes and found themselves 4-12 ahead thanks to tries from Ryan Edwards and Logan Lagar, both converted by Theo Gabbott.
Unfortunately this was as good as it got for the Giants as the hosts took control of the game and, by the hour mark were leading 28-18.

A Josh Barnard try gave Albion some hope of a comeback victory but Hindley scored two tries in the last ten minutes which saw them record a deserved victory.
This Friday Albion have chance for immediate revenge when they again travel to Hindley this time for a NWML shield clash.
