Members of Trust Alliance Group (TAG) recently visited Warrington Youth Zone to support an initiative aimed at enhancing the facility’s sensory provision for young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).
During the visit, TAG representatives dedicated their time to cleaning and refreshing the Youth Zone’s sensory room, helping to create a more welcoming, engaging, and supportive environment for those who rely on the space. The improvements are designed to ensure the room remains a safe and calming area where young people can regulate, relax, and thrive.
In addition to their hands-on volunteering efforts, Trust Alliance Group made a generous donation of a wide range of sensory toys and specialist equipment. These items will significantly strengthen the Youth Zone’s SEND offer, providing staff with additional tools to support young people with diverse needs and enhance their overall experience.
This latest contribution builds on the ongoing partnership between Trust Alliance Group and Warrington Youth Zone. As an Impact Patron, TAG has consistently demonstrated its commitment to supporting local young people, continued involvement has played a vital role in enabling the Youth Zone to deliver inclusive, high-quality services to the community.
Molly Swatton, SEND Manager at Warrington Youth Zone commented on the donation and volunteering: “This kind donation will make a meaningful difference for our members with disabilities who attend our Springboard sessions. These are programmes specifically designed to remove barriers and ensure young people can fully take part in activities. The kind of support provided by TAG helps us to create a calm and engaging sensory space for young people, ultimately encouraging self-confidence and their own personal development.”
Liz Pritchard, Senior Leader Social Impact & Sustainability at Trust Alliance Group added “It’s been a really rewarding experience for our colleagues to support Warrington Youth Zone in such a practical and meaningful way. Refreshing the sensory room and providing specialist equipment is something we know will make a real difference to young people who rely on the space. We’re proud to continue building our partnership and supporting the incredible work the Youth Zone delivers”
Trust Alliance Group’s dedication to Warrington Youth Zone highlights the importance of strong community partnerships in creating opportunities and improving outcomes for young people across Warrington.
