RESIDENTS at Croft, Warrington, have once again shown their community spirit by raising £160 for the Royal British Legion through this year’s Croft Poppy Appeal.

Large commemorative poppies are currently on display at Croft Playing Field, each one sponsored by local residents, businesses, and politicians in support of the charity’s vital work with the Armed Forces community.

Among the business sponsors was MNG Home Maintenance, run by Mark Goddard of Croft. Mark is no stranger to supporting good causes—he recently took part in the DIY SOS: Children in Need special for The Joshua Tree charity in Cheshire. The episode is set to air on BBC One on Thursday 13th November at 9pm.
Organisers of the Croft Poppy Appeal expressed their gratitude to everyone who contributed, helping to honour the memory of those who have served and to support veterans and their families.
