The Warrington North MP said: “Thank you to Warrington Speak Up, The Warrington Wolves Foundation, MacIntyre Great Communities Warrington for organising today’s Hope 100 Warrington 5K and 10K walk ahead of World Suicide Prevention Day, and to all the amazing volunteers who made everything run so smoothly!
“It was wonderful to take part in the 10K and to have so many conversations about mental health, wellbeing and how we can as a community support each other when times are hard. It was moving to see so many community groups taking part, including Creating Adventures, as mental health is something that can impact anyone from any walk of life.
“Well done to everyone who took part, including all our four-legged friends who joined in! Let’s keep these conversations going year-round to break the stigma and ensure we look out for one another. Talking really can save lives.
Lee Payton from Andy’s Man Club said: “The walk isn’t just about the mile,s it’s about connection. It’s a chance to have a chat, share experiences, support one another, or simply enjoy some quiet time to reflect, knowing someone is walking right beside you.
“Together, we walk with hope.”
