Sixty new jobs to be created at purpose-bulit care home

SIXTY new jobs will be created when a new, purpose-built care home opens at Great Sankey, Warrington in November.

Arplemere care home – the name is a reference to Arpley Meadows nature reserve and a pond near to the home – will be located on Fortress Boulevard on the outskirts of Great Ssankey and will be operated by Crystal Care Collection.
It will have 66 care beds and will offer offering premium accommodation and personalised residential and dementia care.
Arplemere will provide all-inclusive care under a ‘Crystal Clear’ package – meaning no hidden costs or billable extras – designed to give residents and families peace of mind when it comes to looking for a care home.

At the centre of its vision is the “Community Tree” initiative, a unique program designed to help residents remain rooted in the town they know and love.
Through the initiative, the home will connect with local people, schools, voluntary groups, and organisations to take part in shared activities, events, and projects.
Liz Walker, managing director at Crystal Care Collection, said: “Our Community Tree reflects our belief that community should never be something you leave behind.
“We want our residents to continue feeling part of Warrington—not just as observers, but as active participants.”
Solar panels and ground source heat pump technology will mean Arplemere can be operated as a Carbon Free Green home, promoting eco-friendly standards.
