A 28-year-old man who absconded from Thorn Cross prison, Appleton, has been arrested following a public appeal.
The man, who was serving a sentence for aggravated burglary and section 18 assault, failed to return to the prison on June 30.
Police have today confirmed that he has now been arrested following a public appeal and thanked those who assisted with the appeal.
