FIREFIGHTERS were called out during the early hours of this morning to tackle a wheelie bin fire close to flats at Padgate, Warrington.
At 02:02 crews from Warrington and Birchwood attended reports of a fire on Valiant Close.
An industrial wheelie bin was on fire close to flats. A hose reel jet was used to put out the fire and a high-pressure fan operated to clear smoke.
In another incident at 17:07, yesterday (Monday) one crew from Warrington was called out to reports of a fire on Forrest Way.
A pallet was on fire, believed to have been set deliberately, and was put out by firefighters using a hose reel jet. Police also attended the incident.
