Lengthy delays as Cromwell Avenue blocked following three-vehicle collision

A three-vehicle collision on Cromwell Avenue, Warrington, has caused lengthy delays in the town heading towards rush hour.

The collision resulted in one lane being blocked in both directions on the A574 following the collision near Ten Pin Bowling.

Emergency services attended at the scene and congestion was back to the A49 Winwick Road/Long Lane junction.

A Cheshire Police Spokesperson said: ” At 3.14pm on Tuesday 13 February, police were called to reports of a collision on Cromwell Avenue, Warrington.
“The incident involves three vehicles. There are no reports of any injuries.”

The road has since re-opened.
