A 33-year-old man has denied assaulting his former partner when she was pregnant and engaging in controlling and coercive behaviour in Warrington.
Lee Peake pleaded not guilty to the two offences when he appeared at Liverpool Crown Court yesterday (Friday).
Peake, of Quayside, Leigh, is alleged to have assaulted Jodie Foster causing her actual bodily harm between March 10 and 31 last year.
It is claimed that between December 29, 2015 and November 30 last year he engaged in controlling and coercive behaviour.
Judge Robert Trevor-Jones further remanded him on bail to await his trial due to begin on February 19. Conditions include not to contact the complainant.
