Men arrested for assault on partner and possession of a knife

TWO men were arrested in Warrington last night in separate incidents, one for assaulting his partner and the other for possessing a knife.

A 45-year-old male was arrested in Appleton last night for domestic assault and threats against his partner.

In a separate incident, a 43-year-old male was arrested in the Birchwood area last night for possession of an offensive weapon (knife).

Both men were taken into custody for questioning.
