Drink driver arrested at Birchwood was more than three times limit

A drink driver arrested on a residential road at Birchwood, Warrington, last night, was found to be more than THREE times the limit.

The 29-year-old male was arrested on Redshank Lane on suspicion of Drink Driving.

He provided a roadside breath test of 124 – the legal limit is 35. He was arrested and taken into custody and faces a charge of driving with excess alcohol.
