POLICE are appealing for help to catch off-road bikers causing nuisance and damage across Warrington, following ongoing issues including crops being damaged in fields at Burtonwood and Winwick last night.
Last night, Thursday, Burtonwood & Winwick Police received several reports of off-road motorcycles going across fields and damaging crops.
Patrols will be in the area to try and prevent and catch the people doing this. If anyone has any more information on these bikes please call 101.
There have been ongoing problems across Warrington in recent weeks.
Bewsey & Whitecross Police have reported an increase in the use of off-road Bikes being used, thar are being ridden anti-socially and dangerously this week.
Culcheth Croft & Glazebury Police recently received reports of three off-road motorcycles and a mud-covered quad bike riding on Withington Avenue, Warrington Road and the footpaths towards Crowe Wood in Culcheth.
Rixton & Woolston Police have received reports of similar problems at Little Woolden Moss Nature Reserve causing damage to the countryside.
Anyone who witnesses off-road bikers causing an issue is urged to contact the police on 101 quoting Operation Scrambler.
