FIRE crews were called out to tackle a fire in a disused building at Bewsey and a chip pan fire at Oakwood, Warrington.
At 06:04 today (Thursday) crews from Warrington and Penketh attended reports of a fire at a property on Lodge Lane, Bewsey.
Firefighters used a bucket of water to extinguish a small fire inside a disused building. Crews cut away some wood affected by the fire, but no further spread was found.
At 17:06 yesterday, one crew from Warrington, returned reports of a fire at a property on Whinchat Drive, Oakwood.
Firefighters extinguished a fire involving a chip pan. A high-pressure fan was used to ventilate the property and clear the smoke.
