THREE fire engines were sent to a fire at a waste site at Sankey Bridges, Warrington.
The crews fr0m Penketh, Warrington and Knutsford went to Barnard Street where the blaze had started in a skip
Site staff cleared rubbish from the area while firefighters used a hose reel jet to extinguish the fire and dampened down.
It is believed the fire had started accidentally and no-one was hurt.
