FIREFIGHTERS from Warrington were called out this morning (Saturday) to reports of a fire involving a discarded mattress at Winwick Quay.
At 09:39 one crew was called out to Calver Road at Winwick Quay following reports of a fire in the open.
Firefighters tackled rubbish being burnt and used a hose reel jet to extinguish the fire involving a mattress.
