GULLIVER’S World is offering a special treat to help families celebrate Father’s Day later this month.
To mark Father’s Day weekend, the theme park in Warrington is offering one free adult ticket with each full-paying child (over 90cm tall) on both Saturday, June 15 and Sunday, June 16.
Gully and Gilly Mouse and the gang will be there to welcome Dads and families to the resort, where they will be entertained by an array of amazing rides, shows and attractions.
What’s more, for families wanting to turn the visit to Gulliver’s into a weekend stay, there is a range of accommodation options, including an onsite hotel housing Unicorn, Cowboy, Sweetie and Pirate-themed rooms, and themed dens, lodges, and tipis in the Wilderness Wharf.
Craig Clews, resort director at Gulliver’s World, said: “After seeing the wonderful buzz around the park on Mother’s Day weekend in March, it promises to be another busy, fun-packed weekend when Dads get their turn! Celebrating families is what Gulliver’s is all about and many adventurers take the opportunity to stay overnight to make it a truly magical visit.”
Gulliver’s World opened in 1989, the second of four Gulliver’s resorts around England, and to celebrate its 35th birthday there are lots of special events planned for this year, including Dinosaurs Unleashed on June 8 & 9, Summer Sparks Spectacular on August 31, and a Fright Fiesta for Halloween.
Visitors have more than 50 rides, attractions, shows and activities to savour, including The Wriggler, The Pirate Ship, Desperado Drop, and animatronic dinosaurs, along with Gulliver’s Gears which opened last year – a car-themed area with two exciting rides; the Grand Prix Racer rollercoaster, and Overdrive, a 360-degree thrill and one of Gulliver’s most daring rides.
