Road closure to repair collapsed culvert at Croft

A road closure of up to two weeks will come into force at Croft next month (April) while works are carried out to repair a collapsed culvert.

The 14 day road closure notice is set to come into force on April 15 from the Memorial Hall on Mustard Lane Croft, to the junction of Sandy Lane.

Warrington Borough Council has given notice it intends to make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of which will be to introduce the following:
Prohibition of Driving & Clearway: Sandy Lane for its entire length.
Footway Closure: Mustard Lane from the Memorial Hall to Sandy Lane, Croft.
The Order will be effective from 15th April 2024 for 14 days, between 8am and 5pm, as and when signed on site. Access will be under the control of the relevant Contractor for the duration of the works. The alternative route will be via Heath Lane, Mustard Lane and vice versa. The restrictions are required for line drainage system following works due to a collapsed culvert.
