AWARD nominated dance performance ‘Company Carpi’ is coming to Warrington this Saturday, November 11.

If the truth be told I’m not really a fan of dance performance with music. However, in an effort to broaden my horizons even further I am willing to watch and listen to all genres and have met some wonderful people since writing this column. My editor has even introduced me to some quite obscure classic rock, who’d have thought that!
So, if local musician Vicky Williams tells me that the Company Carpi show – ‘When you light a candle, you also cast a shadow’  is a beautiful  performance with dancers portraying the journey of the changing seasons, creation and destruction, order and chaos then I have to nip along.

The show being held at The Pyramid Arts Centre has 3 performances throughout the day at 3, 5 & 7pm lasting 30 – 40 minutes and features a trio of female dancers accompanied by a string quartet and also includes poetry from Mary Talbot so it should prove quite inspiring!
I will be watching the band ‘Gondolas’ at HMV at 2pm then catching the 3pm show with my daughter and have purchased my tickets from the following link

So readers, if you fancy something cultural this weekend why not pop along!
