A BRAND-new food trader will be joining the Cookhouse at Warrington Market later this month, serving an authentic selection of meat, vegetarian and vegan Bangladeshi dishes.

Guroma, a family-run business that has been trading at Chester Market for the past two years, will join the Cookhouse line-up from Monday, September 25.

They provide a unique culinary experience for customers and are now expanding to bring their tasty offerings to Warrington.
As well as wraps, rice dishes and Bangla bowls, Guroma’s menu also consists of mouthwatering Masala Fries, Shingara (fried dumplings), Dhal Puri (flatbread stuffed with spiced lentils), and Tandoori chicken wings.

Cllr Tom Jennings, the borough council’s cabinet member for economic development and innovation, said: “The Cookhouse at Warrington Market has proved hugely popular with customers since it opened back in 2020, offering a variety of cuisine from around the world.
“Guroma will be a great addition to the food offer already available and I would encourage everyone to stop by and sample something from their menu when they open next month.”
The team at Guroma also offer catering services for family events, birthdays, weddings and corporate events.
A spokesperson for Guroma said: “We’re passionate about providing our customers with an authentic Bangladeshi foodie experience, by offering a selection of Bangladeshi street food dishes that have been cooked using traditional recipes and ingredients. All of our curry boxes are personalised per customer taste.”
