Car seized as police arrest drug dealer suspect

A suspected drug dealer was arrested and had his car seized by police after being stopped on Sankey Way, Warrington, yesterday.

As well as being caught in possession of Class A drugs he was driving without a licence or insurance.

A Cheshire Police spokesperson said: “At 2.20pm on 1 February officers stopped a blue Mercedes B150 on Sankey Way, Warrington.
“The driver of the car, a 42-year-old local man, was arrested for possession with intent to supply Class A drugs and driving without a licence or insurance.
“The car was also seized.
“The suspect remains in custody at the current time.”
