POLICE are appealing for information after a deliberate fire spread to a hedgerow and trees adjoining Lymm May Queen Field.
The incident took place at 13:22 yesterday (Tuesday) at The Peppers, Lymm.
One fire engine attended from Lymm and firefighters used a hose reel jet to extinguish the hedge row on fire.
The fire had deliberately been set on the fenceline between May Queen Field and The Peppers.
Anyone with any information regarding the fire is asked to contact local police via their facebook page direct message so officers can speak to those involved. Alternatively, call 101.
Its believed a small fire was lit in the wooded area of the May Queen Field and due to the dry land the fire has taken over the trees on The Peppers street.
They say anyone involved would have a smell of smoke on their clothing.
