Care home residents enjoy beach day

THE wonderful garden shade proved a great place for Keate House Care Home at Lymm, to hold a Beach Day for residents.

The paddling pool was out and everyone was soon dipping their toes in for a paddle.

One lady said “no one would believe that 80 and 90 years are having a paddle in the sea, blooming fantastic”.
Traditional beach games were also held and of course the ice lollies were delicious and refreshing.
The residents also loved watching a fantastic Punch and Judy show created by the Keate House activity team and said it took them back to their own childhood.

Established in 1989, the family-run Care Home provides first-class accommodation and facilities supported by a highly trained, compassionate management and care team who share a vision of holistic person-centred care for all.
