COVID-19 infection rates continue downward trend as some areas report zero new cases

NEW Covid-19 infection rates are continuing a downward trend across Warrington, with some areas reporting zero cases in the latest small area data.

Four areas, have seen increases, the largest increase at Penketh and Cuerdley with 14, compared to just four the previous week, while 16 new cases have been reported in Lymm, compared to 15 last week.

There were a total of 189 new cases week ending May 14 , compared to 252 the previous week and 340 the week before that.
