Drink driver arrested after crash outside Sainsbury’s while two escape serious injury in collision at Lymm

A drink driver was arrested following a collision outside Sainsbury’s on Church Street, Warrington, earlier today.

Meanwhile in another incident Booths Hill Road at Lymm was closed in both directions following a serious road traffic collision involving two vehicles.

Both drivers involved were taken to hospital as a precaution but are understood to have escaped serious injury

Police have thanked everyone locally who attended to assist with the incident.

The road is now fully re-opened.
