Warrington’s latest COVID-19 hot spots and vaccination data as overall rates fall but six areas see increases

MOST areas of Warrington have again seen a fall in new cases of COVID-19 in the latest small area data from Public Health England – although six areas saw increases with the highest rates of infection in the Padgate and Paddington areas .

New infections in Lymm which have been high for the past three weeks have started to fall, but remain relatively high compared to some other areas.

While the overall trend is down, the latest daily figures released yesterday saw an increase in infection rates for the first time in recent weeks.

The latest data published yesterday, November 4, for the week ending October 30, show COVID-19 infection rates in Warrington have fallen to 905 new cases in a seven-day period compared to 1,140 the previous week and 1,323 the week before that.
