WHILE most areas of Warrington are seeing a downward trend in new COVID-19 cases a few hot spots remain, mainly in the central area of the town.
A total of eight areas have seen increases in the latest data released by Public Health England, with the highest number of new cases in the neighbouring areas of Central Warrington, Bewsey & Dallam and Hulme.
Public Health England’s case numbers for small areas published today show positive tests for the seven days ending the 27th Feb.
The numbers in parentheses are the equivalent numbers of cases for the previous week ending 20th Feb.
