Police step up patrols following evidence of drug-taking at abandoned property

POLICE are stepping up patrols near an abandoned property at Lymm following reports of anti-social behaviour involving drug activity and groups of youths.

Officers attended at the abandoned property on Higher Lane after reports of anti-social behaviour and the premises being used as a meeting ground.
No one present today however there was signs that youths have been congregating and drug-taking has been happening. Police will continue to patrol this area.
Meanwhile, officers are also checking up on other incidents which have occurred over the last few days.
They be out patrolling and checking locations of note this evening, as well as collecting more CCTV evidence of incidents. Residents are reminded to contact 101 (non emergencies) or 999.
