Record number of new COVID-19 cases reported in Warrington


A total of 311 new COVID-19 cases have been reported in Warrington in the latest daily update from Public Health England – the highest daily number since the start of the pandemic.

The 311 (241) new cases reported taking the total in the town, since the start of the pandemic, to 12,663 (12,352). The previous highest number was 303 on January 3.
Cases in Warrington for the last seven days, previous days/updates in brackets, are 1,663 (1,645) – 791.9 (783.3) per 100,000 population – continuing an upward trend in infection rates over a seven day period.
