Warrington Town confirm exit of winger

WARRINGTON Town have confirmed the departure of winger Jack Dunn, and warned others could follow.

The Yellows have been left in limbo by the suspension of the Northern Premier League season, with no signs of when it might resume.

With all the leagues above continuing to play, there has been interest in players – who are eager to play, and ensure they can still earn a living through football.

Chairman Toby Macormac said: “As outlined a few weeks ago, I have to make some decisions to protect the future of the club.

“We also have to think about the financial situation players find themselves in, and other leagues present opportunities to support them.”

Dunn, 27, joined the Yellows in 2018 and has had loan spells at Widnes and Southport.

He scored 11 goals in 47 appearances, scoring memorable goals against South Shields and Basford United.
