FIREFIGHTERS were called out last night to tackle a rubbish fire at Winwick.
One crew from Warrington attended at the scene shortly before 8pm.
Firefighters used a hose reel to extinguish a fire on Townfield Lane. The fire involved a small amount of rubbish next to a container.
Crews then dampened down the area.
They were in attendance for around one hour.
