Three more deaths as number of confirmed cases of COVID-19 reaches 182

THREE more people have sadly died at Warrington Hospital after testing positive for COVID-19 with the number of confirmed cases in the town now 182.

The total number of people who have died in Warrington after testing posting for COVID-19 now stands at 20, with the daily number of those testing positive increasing by 20.
Across the country there have been 5,491 confirmed new cases and 938 deaths in the last 24 hours.
The total numbers now stand at 60,733 cases and 7,097 deaths.
The latest figures from NHS England count newly confirmed deaths of hospital patients reported up until 5pm Tuesday.
Warrington Hospital no longer releases ages of of those affected.
But the national figures involved patients aged between 22 and 103 and 46 of them (aged 35 to 96) had no known underlying health condition.
Meanwhile Warrington & Halton Hospitals Trusts have launched an appeal for more staff to help combat the pandemic.
They have launched an appeal for more nurses, health care assistants, porters and domestics.
