VIDEOS: ONCE again thousands of people packed into Lymm village centre for the annual “Carols around The Cross” event on Christmas Eve.

A local tradition going back many years and organised by the local community and supported by Lymm Parish Council, Warrington Brass entertained the crowds, who sang along to traditional carols and Christmas favorites.

Town Crier and local councillor Peter Powell again compared the event supported by church leaders Rev Bev Jameson from St Mary’s Church and Father Michael from St. Peter’s Church, Oughtrington, from a mobile stage set up in the village centre.

The crowds sang various popular carols as well as some Christmas favourites including Jingle Bells and Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer.
