#LoveWarrington and be stronger together

WARRINGTON has received plenty of negative publicity over the years – and like any town or city it is far from perfect – but there is still plenty to be positive about.

The amount of positive comments we have received to our new #LoveWarrington show has been truly inspiring.

During episodes 1 & 2 we teamed up with local housing expert Gary Pemberton from Belvoir Sales & Lettings to take a tour of the town centre looking at the issues facing the town, promoting local businesses, encouraging people to shop local and supporting the high street.

As one of the founding members of #LoveWarrington, a consortium of local business people who give up their time to promote the town in a positive way, I care passionately about the place where I  live and work.

The past year has been a tough one for many businesses and with much uncertainty created by #brexit and changes in shopping habits, it more important than ever that we work hard to support our town and local businesses.

It is easy to sit back and be negative and while our first broadcast did attract some negative comments, the vast majority of people applauded our positive attitude.

So much more can be achieved in life with a positive attitude and while there is still a lot of work to be done, Warrington, as a town, is leading the way.

Everybody needs to work together in a positive manner to ensure Warrington continues to prosper. There will be bumps in the road, just like the journey of life – but together we will be stronger!
