Eye in the sky reveals a changing landscape

THE landscape around Junction 8 on the M62 at Warrington is changing almost daily.

The Improvements are being carried out to junction 8 to improve access from the M62 to the growing Omega development site.
The improvements will also benefit businesses at Lingley Mere and for local residents. It should reduce existing congestion on local and strategic routes and deliver capacity to support future growth in jobs and housing at Omega, Lingley Mere, Gemini and the wider North West Warrington area.
It should improve conditions for other transport users, including public transport services, pedestrians and cyclists and improve road safety on the M62 due to reduced risk of slip road queuing extending back onto the motorway.
