POLICE have praised four “unsung heroes” who came to the aid of a distressed male on a motorway bridge at Winwick, Warrington, earlier today.
The four young men, who police believe may have been local college students, stayed with the male who was on the over bridge at junction 9 of the M62 and kept him calm until police arrived at the scene.
Motorway patrol police described the youngsters as “unsung heroes” and “pillars of the community.”
