Fire breaks out in airing cupboard

FIRE broke out in the airing cupboard at a house at Stockton Heath last night.
Fire crews from Stockton Heath and Warrington went to the scene in Belvoir Road and used a hose reel jet to extinguish the3 flames.
It was necessary to isolate the electrical supply while the work was carried out.
Afterwards, a ventilation unit was used to clear smoke from the property.  There were no reports of injuries.
