Woman trapped after three car collision

FIREFIGHTERS had to remove the roof of a car when a casualty was trapped after a three car collision on Grappenhall Road, Appleton, Warrington.

The casualty, a woman, was released by firefighters and handed into the care of paramedics.

Grappenhall Road was closed by police while the incident which took place at 5.40pm last night, was being dealt with.
