Men fined after hoax kidnapping call to police

TWO men have been fined for wasting police time after faking a kidnapping with a hoax call.

Police traced the call to a premises in Burtonwood, Warrington and arrested two men aged 19 and 26.

They were both arrested on 26th July for wasting police time have both been issued with £90 penalty notices.

Both were arrested after making a false call in relation to a kidnapping that later turned out to be a hoax.
