MUSIC, dance, theatre – all are included in a free show at Warrington’s Pyramid arts centre on Monday.

Performance group Creative Remedies, which aims to give young people in the 18-plus age group a chance to express themselves and gain confidence, is putting on the show at 1pm.

The revue will include performances of various pop and rock tunes by three music groups.

A movement and dance group will perform an original dance piece which has been written and choreographed by the group themselves and a performing arts group will present “Correlation Street” – a play they have written and produced.

Creative Remedies provides classes with tutors and equipment free of charge to their performers. It is designed to give them the opportunity to express themselves and gain confidence.

The group also provides other activities including painting, sculpture, dance, photography,  film and much more.

Cllr Pat Wright, the borough council’s lead member for statutory health and adult social care, will be attending Monday’s event.

She said: “Creative Remedies is a fantastic and incredibly vital organisation who always put on a great show.

“I know their work can have such a positive impact on the lives of our residents with mental health needs. I am looking forward to attending the show and would encourage people to come along for a great afternoon out.”
