“We’ll meet Again” – at the Parr Hall

A BRAND new “war time cavalcade” show comes to the Parr Hall, Warrington on March 16 – full of damp-eyed nostalgia.
“We’ll Meet Again”, produced by Duggie Chapman and starring comedy entertainer Steve Barclay, will feature the music, songs and humour of war time.
Ukulele virtuoso Andy Eastwood is in the line-up as is West End singing star Maggie O’Hara who will be providing the songs of Vera Lynn, Gracie Fields and Ann Shelton.
A full supports cast will include Mervyn Francis, former singer from the Black and White Minstrel Show, and special guest comedian and multi-instrumentalist Pete Lindup.
The live music of the Martyn St James Band will complete a show of good old-fashioned variety paying tribute to the Armed Forces of yesterday, today and tomorrow.
It should leave the audience with a warm and sentimental glow.
