DESPITE suffering personal tragedy in his own life recently, anti-hate campaigner Adrian Derbyshire showed the true meaning of Christmas during his annual visit to Warrington Hospital.
Adrian, who tragically lost his sixteen-year-old daughter Julia just a few months ago, spent the day visiting staff and patients at the hospital, where his daughter died last October after five days on a life support machine.
He made the difficult decision to keep his annual tradition of visiting the hospital going, as he embarks on a campaign to keep his daughter’s name alive by promoting anti-hate, anti-bullying and raising awareness of teenage self-harming and suicide.
During his visit Adrian presented gifts of coffee making machines to staff as he visited patients of all ages throughout Chrsitmas Day.

What a very kind, compassionate and thoughtful person Mr Derbyshire is to carry on with his tradition and campaign despite his tragic family loss of his daughter. A truly inspirational man and I wish him all the best and every success in all he does and tries to achieve.
Truly inspirational – keep up the great work Adrian.
