LYMM Festival has appointed a new Marketing and Publicity Director.
Anna Worsley will work alongside Events Director Dave Sawyer and the rest of the team to plan and deliver next year’s Festival.
Anna moved to Lymm just over a year ago and has already become an active member of the community. She is a member of Lymm Runners and acted as a volunteer for the Festival’s Historic Transport Day in June.
Anna said: “I’m very impressed with the interesting and varied programme the Festival puts on, from the packed summer Festival to the winter warmers. I’m delighted to be joining the team.”
Chairman Ian Marks added: “We welcome Anna to the Festival and I know she has a number of fresh ideas for taking our marketing and publicity forward. We have already started to plan our winter events and the main summer Festival that will run from 16 to 26 June 2016. It is important that we put on events that will appeal to all sections of the population and we want to attract more people into Lymm from wider afield.
