RESIDENTS are to be given a chance to view the final plans for a new fire station – and meet the team who will be building it.
Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service will be staging an exhibition on the new Penketh Fire Station at the Olive Tree Community Centre, Chapel Lane, Penketh from 3pm-6pm this Friday.
Staff from the service and ISG, the company which has been awarded the contract, will be present.
Visitors will be able to see artist’s impressions of what the new fire station will look like and discover more about the construction process that is set to start later this month.
There will also be an opportunity to pick up some information about becoming an on-call firefighter.
