Brainwave charity Golf Day

HIGH Legh Golf and Country Club was the setting for a Charity Golf Day organised by Alister Cook and his wife, Victoria on behalf of the Birchwood based Brainwave’s Northwest Centre.

Alister designed ‘The Golf Waltz’ competition around the course at High Legh. The 23 teams of four who participated in the event thoroughly enjoyed the day and raised much appreciated funds for the Birchwood based charity which works with children with very significant developmental delay.

The days golf was followed in the evening by a two course meal, presentation, raffle and auction. Prizes included rounds of golf at premier courses around the Northwest, a holiday in a luxury house on the Welsh borders and tickets for various sporting and music events.

Many thanks to Alister and Victoria, to High Legh golf club for hosting the event, as well as to all the golfers who attended the day and also to all those who so generously donated prizes for the raffle and auction or sponsored the event.
